Porter/Groundskeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Porter/Groundskeeper to join our team at RichSmith Management. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of our apartment communities.

• Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements, to ensure the overall condition of our properties.
• Grounds Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our grounds, including landscaping, irrigation, and pool systems.
• Janitorial Services: Provide janitorial services, including cleaning and sanitizing common areas, apartments, and amenities.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our maintenance and office teams to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.

• Experience: At least one year of experience in building maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Knowledge: Working knowledge of grounds maintenance, landscaping, irrigation, and pool systems, as well as general maintenance and janitorial tasks.
• Skills: Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and decision-making ability.
• Physical Demands: Ability to bend, stoop, and twist into small areas, lift, push/pull, carry, and/or move a minimum of 50 pounds (up to 100 pounds with assistance).
