**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst II to join our team, working on Personal Auto and Homeowners Insurance pricing. As an Actuarial Analyst II, you will collaborate with fellow actuaries and colleagues to solve crucial business problems, driving business growth and profitability.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Conduct in-depth pricing studies to assess the profitability of insurance products, analyzing rating variables and suggesting pricing adjustments.
  • Collaborate with the Predictive Analytics team on modeling endeavors, leveraging data to inform business decisions.
  • Work with Marketing to enhance ROI on advertising spending, developing targeted marketing strategies.
  • Review usage-based insurance (UBI) data and propose pricing modifications, staying up-to-date on market trends and product advancements.
  • Analyze trends to comprehend shifts in insurance claims frequency and severity, identifying opportunities for business growth.
  • Evaluate the effects of crash-avoidance technology on Auto insurance claims, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, communicating complex actuarial concepts and recommendations.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum of 2 years of PC actuarial experience, with a strong understanding of insurance pricing and risk management.
  • A degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related fields, with a strong academic record.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, with experience in presenting complex data and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Interest in pursuing ACAS and FCAS credentials from the Casualty Actuarial Society, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
