Maintain a clean and appealing breakfast area according to policy standards. Ensure guest needs are met during breakfast.

**Responsibilities:**

### Cleaning and Sanitation

* Sweep and mop floor
* Empty trash and clean equipment

### Food Handling and Safety

* Know local and state health codes pertaining to food handling and sanitation

### Breakfast Setup and Service

* Assist with setting up efficient and colorful breakfast area
* Create various themes and special events

### Administrative Tasks

* Forecast food and beverage needs
* Minimize waste in food preparation
* Inventory and order breakfast items and supplies
* Read minimum and maximum par labels and determine amount

### Communication and Teamwork

* Inform management of any shortages, substandard products, broken equipment, problems, etc.
* Assist with receiving and storage according to procedures
* Organize refrigeration units and storage areas

### Training and Development

* Adhere to all training requirements as dictated by management and the hotel franchise

**Requirements:**

* Ability to work with management to set up efficient and colorful breakfast area
* Ability to correctly explain and complete various breakfast forms
