Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Nutrition Specialist to join our team at Cook Children's. This role involves providing evidence-based nutrition care to patients and families, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized nutrition plans.

About the Role

This position requires a strong background in pediatric nutrition and experience working with patients of all ages. As a Pediatric Nutrition Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing nutrition care plans, and educating patients and families on healthy eating habits.

Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based nutrition care to patients and families
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
  • Educate patients and families on healthy eating habits
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Nutrition or related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in pediatric nutrition
  • Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensure by the State of Texas within six months
Benefits

Cook Children's offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
