Job Title: Bus Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Bus Driver to join our team at PrimeTech International, Inc. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and freight while ensuring the vehicle is properly maintained and operated.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assign and dispatch motor vehicles and drivers to fill requests for movement of passengers and/or freight
* Ensure that passengers and baggage are properly loaded and secured, and that the vehicle is not loaded beyond capacity
* Complete driver commitment records, dispatch documentation, and preventive maintenance service records
* Perform driver maintenance in accordance with established rules and regulations
* May drive other sizes and types of vehicles on which trained and licensed when required by the workload
* Perform other related duties as required

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

* The employee may often handle equipment/supplies weighing up to 50 pounds individually and occasionally items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance
* Able to exert moderate physical effort in the loading, unloading, and arranging of equipment/supplies as applicable to the position
* Ability to work inside and/or outside in dirty and dusty environments, and be exposed to hot, cold, damp, drafty weather conditions, loud work areas, and around fumes
* Able to perform work on hard or uneven surfaces
* Able to sit, stand, squat, walk, and drive in the performance of work

Qualifications:

* Two years of driving experience with at least one year of experience in driving buses with a seating capacity of more than 25 passengers
* Must have a safe driving record
* Ability to effectively read, write, and comprehend English written instructions, perform common mathematical tasks, and communicate effectively
* Must pay attention to detail and have excellent follow-up skills

Certificate, License, Registration, etc.:

* US Citizen
* Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance applicable to the position and/or military Common Access Card (CAC) within 30 days if required
* Completion of company-mandated training applicable to the position
* Must possess a valid state driver's license (Georgia/South Carolina Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with "P" endorsement
* Must possess or be able to obtain a military driver's license within 15 days for size and type of vehicle to be operated
* Must be medically qualified in accordance with company and government regulations

Education:

* High school graduate, GED, or three years of work experience that demonstrates the ability to write, read, and comprehend written instruction documents, perform common mathematical tasks, and to communicate effectively
