FlexStaff Careers is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at an addiction treatment center in Norfolk, CT.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated LPN to provide medical and health-related management of clients in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for completing secondary nursing assessments, administering medications, and monitoring clients' daily progress.
Responsibilities:- Complete secondary nursing assessments and administer medications as per detox protocols and/or MD/APRN orders
- Monitor clients daily to ensure a safe and successful detox experience and make proper adjustments as required
- Monitor for withdrawal symptoms, response to medications, and vital signs
- Communicate findings and concerns to MD/APRN
- Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to promote the best care of clients
- Current active CT license as a licensed practical nurse
- One-year experience in substance abuse treatment or behavioral health preferred
- Experience with both general medical and psychiatric populations
The salary range for this position is $35-$39/hour. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
