AdeIphi Medical Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Correctional Psychologist to provide mental health services to inmates in a correctional facility in Stockton, California.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychological evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans for inmates with mental health issues. This will include conducting initial mental health evaluations, suicide risk assessments, and developing treatment plans that reflect community standards of practice.
As a Correctional Psychologist, you will work closely with the Senior Psychologist, Supervisor, and other healthcare personnel to ensure the provision of high-quality mental health services. Your responsibilities will also include documenting all care provided to inmates, monitoring progress using Subjective Assessment Plan Evaluation (SOAPE) FORMATTED PROGRESS NOTES, and participating in Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IOTTs) meetings.
Requirements and Qualifications- Valid and active California Psychology license
- Minimum of twelve (12) continuous months of experience within the last three (3) years and performing services similar in scope to those defined herein
This position offers a competitive salary of $155/hour, with opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Other InformationPlease note that this role requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain order and supervise the conduct of persons committed to the correctional facility to prevent escapes or injury by these individuals to themselves or others.
