About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Developmental Pediatrician to join our multidisciplinary team at NeurAbilities Healthcare. As a Developmental Pediatrician, you will play a critical role in providing evaluation and diagnostic services to neurodiverse individuals with neurological, psychological, developmental, and/or behavioral concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, learning disabilities, and other developmental-behavioral conditions.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans, including medical interventions, therapies, and referrals.
  • Provide follow-up care, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate parents and caregivers about management strategies, treatment options, and care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Complete necessary reports and assessments for educational and legal accommodation, including IEP (Individualized Education Program) recommendations.
Requirements
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Pediatrics and sub-specialty certification in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics (or eligibility).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical pediatric setting, with a focus on developmental-behavioral health.
  • Expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of developmental and behavioral disorders.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Active medical license in NJ or PA or eligibility to obtain one prior to employment.
