Welcome to O-Ku Alys Beach, where we offer a contemporary twist on classic Japanese sushi and cuisine. Our menu features a variety of signature starters, modern Japanese dishes, and seasonal sushi, all crafted to complement our uniquely designed venue. With a beachside setting that includes waterfront and rooftop dining, we serve traditional sashimi and specialty rolls, sourcing the finest seafood from premier markets while incorporating local and seasonal ingredients.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES...

A Barback plays a crucial role in the seamless operation of our vibrant bars. They support Bartenders by ensuring that all bar areas are tidy, well-stocked, and ready to provide efficient and friendly service to our guests. The ideal candidate is energetic, positive, and quick on their feet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, organize, and dismantle all bar supplies before, during, and after service while assisting bartenders as needed.
  • Ensure cleanliness in all bar areas, including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, glassware, and storage spaces, while also clearing and resetting tables in the bar area.
  • Prepare garnishes for beverages and replenish snacks and appetizers for bar guests.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Must be at least 21 years old with 1-2 years of experience in bartending.
  • Familiarity with office management systems and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Effective communication skills with managers, colleagues, and guests.
  • Flexible availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with occasional bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.
