About the Role

As a Child Family Support Specialist with Urban Grow Group, you will play a vital role in supporting families and children through various challenges. Your primary responsibility will be to provide counseling services to families involved in the justice system, aiming to reduce occurrences of child abuse and neglect.

The ideal candidate will possess a Doctoral Degree in the Human Services field and be licensed with one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

You will work with clients experiencing acute mental health crises or emotional distress, providing crisis intervention services and support during challenging times. Additionally, you will conduct problem-solving sessions to assist clients in addressing challenges such as domestic violence, trauma, anger management, and enhanced behavior management for children/youth.

About the Job
  • Provide in-home support and behavioral services to families, including intensive case management and program assistance to agency social workers.
  • Deliver cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy to clients.
  • Maintain detailed files, case logs, and weekly progress reports on each assigned family.
  • Assist families in improving their relationships, teaching parents how to provide better care, nutrition, hygiene, discipline, protection, instruction, and supervision.
Requirements
  • A valid Georgia Driver's License with a minimum of 3-year clear driving history.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Professional liability insurance and car insurance (100/300/100 coverage).
  • Successful completion of required online training provided by Urban Grow Group.

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.
