Job Overview

Position Summary: The role entails the thorough cleaning and sanitization of egg processing machinery while adhering to all corporate policies and regulatory standards. The individual will also support the Sanitation Lead with various tasks and projects as required. This position operates during overnight hours, typically from 6 PM to 4 AM, with potential variations in schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Disassemble, clean, and sanitize all food-processing machinery.
  2. Utilize suitable cleaning techniques, including high-pressure hoses, chemicals, foamers, and scrubbers, to achieve comprehensive cleanliness.
  3. Handle cleaning agents while following usage instructions and wearing the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
  4. Clean overhead areas, floors, and other surfaces within the facility using appropriate cleaning methods.
  5. Sanitize all product pipelines.
  6. Perform self-assessments post-cleaning to verify cleanliness standards.
  7. Adhere to all company policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Food Safety protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
  8. Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Physically agile and capable of lifting up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to execute all responsibilities associated with the position.
  • Must be able to reach, bend, twist, and lift overhead.
  • Comfortable working in diverse environmental conditions.
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays as necessary.
