Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, voice, and fluency abilities. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on assessment findings and student needs.

Direct Therapy Services

Deliver direct speech therapy services, addressing articulation, language comprehension, social communication, and pragmatics goals. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school professionals to ensure cohesive care and effective intervention strategies.

Progress Monitoring and Documentation

Track student progress, document therapy sessions, and communicate effectively with the school team and caregivers.

Professional Development

Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based interventions in the speech-language pathology field.

Qualifications
  • Education and Licensure

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Experience and Skills

Experience working with school-aged children preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
