Vested Technology is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Implement behavior reduction and skills acquisition plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Conduct client assessments and support BCBA-designed assessments
- Collect and analyze data for behavior programs
- Provide direct support and consult with BCBA for additional guidance
- Meet regularly with BCBA to discuss program changes, training, and in-situ supervision
- Adjust interventions as instructed by BCBA
- Maintain thorough knowledge of each intervention for individuals on caseload
- Review treatment plans to ensure treatment integrity
- Meet qualifications for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree preferred)
- At least 1 year experience working with children
- Completion of 40 hours of training based on RBT Task List
- Ability to pass RBT Competency Assessment within 90 days of hire
- Pass criminal background check and sexual registry check
- Excellent public, employee, client, and agency relations skills
- Excellent client service under challenging conditions
- Ability to take constructive criticism on performance
- History of making reliable decisions and effectively communicating with others
