We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Saia LTL Freight. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.
Responsibilities- Transportation: Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
- Route Management: Follow specific routes and schedules to ensure efficient delivery and minimize delays.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
- Experience: 1 year of driving experience required.
- License/Certification: CDL A license required, with Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles/Triples endorsements.
- Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to Syracuse, NY before starting work.
- Compensation: $0.70 - $0.78 per mile.

- Detention Pay: Paid for time spent waiting at delivery locations.
- Extra Stop Pay: Paid for additional stops made during a delivery route.
- Layover Pay: Paid for time spent waiting at layover locations.
