Job Summary

NESCO Inc is seeking a skilled Production Assembler to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for assembling components and preparing sub-assemblies for inclusion into custom procedure trays in various configurations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Preparation: Assemble components and prepare sub-assemblies for inclusion into custom procedure trays in various configurations.
  • Quality Control: Ensure raw materials used during production are in compliance with established material standards and ensure proper handling of materials to minimize amount of scrap loss.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Develop co-worker relationships to ensure products are produced to standards and expectations for quality, design, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Technology and Systems: Utilize system-related technologies to initiate production schedule, Bills of Material, assembly design, instructions, and build requirements.
  • Operational Efficiency: Communicate proactively with Assembly Supervisor with regards to production schedule, line setup, changes in CPT components due to customer request, changes in production requirements, component availability, utilization, or defects.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree.
  • Experience: Three months related assembly experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language Skills: Ability to comprehend simple instructions. Ability to speak, read, and write English is desired.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to do simple math addition, subtraction, multiplication using whole numbers.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral. Ability to understand diagrams is desired.
