Facilities Groundskeeper

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced grounds maintenance specialist to join our team at University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the exterior spaces of our facilities, including lawns, gardens, and parking areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Routine grounds maintenance, including lawn mowing, trimming, and pruning">
• Seasonal flower planting and mulching">
• Cleaning of exterior entrances, trash receptacles, and parking lots">
• Maintenance of all grounds equipment">
• Support for maintenance staff in the facilities">
• Snow and ice removal during winter season">

Qualifications:

• ">
• High school diploma or equivalent required">
• Two years of grounds maintenance experience preferred">
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team">
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions">
• Basic knowledge of gardening and landscaping practices">

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $17.50-$20.00, plus shift differentials, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) matching.
