About the Maintenance Technician Position

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Avenue5 Residential. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, providing exceptional customer service, and upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, as well as general carpentry and grounds maintenance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address potential issues, ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents.
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner, providing excellent customer service and communication.
  • Collaborate with maintenance leadership to prioritize tasks, manage work orders, and ensure seamless operations.
  • Participate in emergency on-call assignments, adhering to established response times and protocols.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience in property management or maintenance preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English; basic math skills and ability to use general office equipment.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance required.
