Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Vermont Permanency Initiative (VPI). As a key member of our food services department, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals to our students while maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment.

The Executive Chef will oversee all aspects of food preparation and service, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional care to our students.

• Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our students, adhering to ServSafe standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
• Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring accurate tracking and ordering.
• Collaborate with our treatment team to provide a comprehensive support system for our students.

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance, employee assistance program, flexible spending account, health savings account, life insurance, paid time off, referral program, and retirement plan.
