- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to promote a safe and effective work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Patient Care
- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and educating patients and families.
- Monitor patient progress, identifying and addressing any changes or concerns in a timely manner.
- Staff Development and Education
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, promoting professional growth and development.
- Develop and implement educational programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff.
- Quality Improvement
- Identify areas for quality improvement and develop strategies to address them.
- Collaborate with other departments to implement changes and monitor progress.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- Current RN or LPN licensure.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a nursing leadership role.
- Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
