Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Acute Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a key member of our hemodialysis healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for assigned patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care under the direct visual supervision of a Registered Nurse (FMCNA RN) or in a treatment room immediately adjacent to an RN.
- Report and document all new and unusual incidents, information, complaints, or problems to the RN.
- Promote and assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment.
- Support the FMCNA commitment to the Quality Enhancement Program (QEP) and Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAI) Activities.
- Perform and record pre and post-dialysis evaluations, weight, and vital signs with initial identification.
- Other duties as required.
- High School Diploma required.
- 1-2 years' related experience.
- Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Certification (CCHT) certification.

Day-to-day work includes desk and personal computer work, interaction with patients, facility staff, and physicians. The position requires travel between assigned facilities and various locations within the community. Travel to meetings may be required.
