Position Overview:
The Department of Surgery at Stamford Health is actively seeking a skilled colorectal surgeon to become part of our dedicated team of two experienced professionals.
Reporting Structure:
This role will report directly to the Chair of Surgery. There is potential for a leadership position if the candidate possesses a strong background in program development.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with fellowship training and expertise in robotic surgery and inflammatory bowel diseases. Our offices are situated within the Stamford Health Medical Group Medical Office Building, conveniently located adjacent to our main hospital. Additional practice locations include Norwalk, Greenwich, and Wilton.
Academic Opportunities:
There may be a chance for a clinical appointment with a prestigious medical institution, contingent upon involvement in resident and medical student education, as well as our collaboration with a renowned cancer institute.

Stamford is positioned in southwestern Connecticut, alongside the scenic Long Island Sound. It is conveniently located just an hour from New York City and LaGuardia Airport, with Westchester Airport only 30 minutes away, offering flights from five major carriers to various destinations.
