Job Summary and Qualifications

We are in search of an X-Ray Technologist to conduct radiological diagnostic procedures as directed by the Radiologist. As a vital member of the multidisciplinary Medical Imaging team, your contributions will significantly enhance patient care.

Responsibilities in this role include:

· Preparing patients for radiological procedures by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into position, and setting exposure factors on the equipment.

· Practicing radiation safety to minimize exposure for both patients and staff.

· Operating diagnostic imaging equipment, processing images, and ensuring the examination room is equipped with necessary supplies and equipment.

· Maintaining accurate patient records, scheduling appointments, overseeing patient transportation, ordering supplies, and fostering a healthy work environment.

Required Qualifications:

· Graduation from an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program is essential.

· RT Certification from ARRT is mandatory.

· A valid South Carolina State License: SCRQSA in Radiology is required.

· A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist is highly preferred.

This position requires full vaccination for COVID-19 in accordance with local, state, and/or federal regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is granted).
