We're Seeking an Associate Director of Systems Engineering (SE) Business Operations Manager

This is a customer-facing role that reports to the SE Department Lead for the program. The successful candidate will be based in Aurora, CO, and work primarily onsite.

Job Description:

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for Raytheon EVMS surveillance team regarding ISA/JSA activities, such as reviews, data concerns, and corrective actions.
  • Providing Q&A support to the program team on execution information related to performance/progress, plan assumptions, and resulting schedule forecasts.
  • Participating in or reviewing Change Management ROMs & Proposals to ensure alignment with handoffs, staffing, and current execution plans.
  • Conducting cost analysis, schedule planning, and engineering coordination to understand engineering variances and drivers leading to cost/schedule variances.
  • Collaborating with finance, engineering, and planning leads to create a coordinated cost/schedule integrated story for proposals, EACs, and reviews.
  • Producing metrics and trends guiding CAMs on consistent ETCs and reviewing ETCs with CAMs.
  • Working with the finance lead on the monthly business cadence for the program.
  • Creating what-if schedule adjustments to see the impact of re-linking schedules with various logic changes.
  • Maintaining program compliance with government required processes.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate cost and schedule data through integration of cross-functional processes and tools.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with cost analysis, schedule planning, and/or technical performance.
  • Background in business operations or cost account management leadership roles.
  • An active SECRET U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is necessary for a security clearance.

  • Leadership experience in cross-functional teams.
  • Metrics production for overall program success.
  • Experience working with large software development teams.
  • BOEs creation to support proposal efforts.
  • Leading major milestone reviews.
  • Risk and Opportunity processes knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of program, customers, and technical leads.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Systems engineering functions experience, including TPMs, operations concept development, requirements management, technical risk management, interface definition, and control.
  • Microsoft Office suite proficiency.

Salary Range: $143,000 USD - $287,000 USD per year. Salary may vary depending on individual qualifications and location.
