**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer Associate to join our team at Telos Corporation. As a key member of our security team, you will play a vital role in protecting our clients' vital IT assets.

Compensation Package:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus excellent benefits including generous paid time off, medical, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, and 401k.

Responsibilities:

- Review Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) notices and determine their applicability to our Information Systems environment.

- Perform routine system vulnerability scans using Tenable Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and associated programs.

- Conduct STIG and SCAP scans of systems, ensuring compliance with security standards.

- Monitor information sent to the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system for irregular activity.

- Create work orders for relevant IAVM notices and vulnerability remediation tasks.

Implementation and Troubleshooting:

- Collaborate with the IT Support Services team to maintain current and supported software versions on ACAS solution and SIEM.

- Assist the ITSS team in researching and remediating known and found system vulnerabilities.

Security and Compliance:

- Comply with Air Force and USCYBERCOM Information Assurance policies, instructions, and directives.

- Perform TEMPEST inspections as needed, ensuring secure data transmission.

Documentation and Maintenance:

- Inspect and assist in correcting user folder documentation.

- Maintain and update TEMPEST drawings for all buildings.

- Update documents for ATO/ATC packages within eMASS and XACTA.

Requirements:

- Possess a minimum current final SECRET security clearance and be eligible for a TS/SCI security clearance.

- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Have at least 1+ years of IT-related experience, preferably in security operations and incident response.

- Possess an IA Security certification at the IAM-I level, with IAM-II and IAM-III certifications also acceptable.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent organizational abilities.

- Meet eligibility requirements for sensitive information access, requiring US citizenship.
