Essential Qualifications:

Job Responsibilities:
As a leader in project management, you will:
- Guide the design team in the preparation and approval of construction documents for assigned projects.
- Engage in routine engineering tasks while demonstrating professional expertise.
- Coordinate design efforts with clients, regulatory bodies, local authorities, contractors, and other consultants.
- Conduct thorough investigations and research to inform planning and design decisions.
- Maintain a proactive project management approach to ensure timely deliverables and adherence to schedules.
- Uphold the highest standards of engineering ethics and conduct.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting in the planning, design, and creation of engineering drawings while supervising their production.
- Conducting engineering investigations and research to support project planning and execution.
- Preparing detailed technical reports and presentations.
- Providing construction administration support, including reviewing shop drawings and attending project meetings.
- Performing data analysis and researching the feasibility of alternative design solutions.
- Conducting engineering calculations and evaluating design options.
- Observing construction activities in the field as necessary.
- Carrying out additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications for Senior Civil Engineering Manager:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering or a related field.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to produce technical documentation.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) is essential; knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.
- Experience with civil engineering design software (e.g., WaterCAD, SewerCAD, ICPR, PONDS, Hec-Ras) is highly desirable.
- A Florida Professional Engineering license is mandatory.
- Prior experience in project management is essential.
Educational Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required, along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in land development engineering and prior project management experience.
