We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Pharmacist to join our team at Ansible Government Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) facility.
Responsibilities- Verify prescription orders for legend, OTC, and controlled substances to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Assess drug orders and cross-match medications with those presented at checking stations.
- Pre-verify medications loaded into mechanical apparatus to dispense medications into prescription bottles.
- Complete verification and fill of controlled substance orders, including Schedules III, IV, and V.
- Perform Quality Assurance functions and supervise Pharmacy Technicians.
- Follow CMOP policies regarding documentation and reporting to meet VA and TJC policy.
- Licensed in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
- Graduate of an American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) accredited school or university.
- Licensed for controlled substances, with qualifications to practice in any states.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills with co-workers and staff.
- Basic typing skills, PC computer skills, and working knowledge of MS Office.
- Fluent in English, with the ability to read, understand, speak, and write the language.
