Job Overview:

The Student Worker will assist in various clerical and customer service tasks to support the Financial Aid and Business Office operations. This role is vital for maintaining effective communication and service delivery within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to general inquiries regarding billing and financial aid.
  • Uphold the institution's commitment to a supportive and caring environment.
  • Execute fundamental clerical tasks efficiently.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Submission of a completed FAFSA to KCTCS.
  • U.S. citizenship or eligibility as a non-citizen.
  • Enrollment in a KCTCS program of study.
  • Maintenance of a minimum GPA of 2.0 and satisfactory academic progress.
  • Enrollment in at least 6 credit hours applicable to the program.
  • Demonstration of unmet financial need for work-study eligibility.
  • Consent to background checks as required by state law.
