Job Description

As a software engineer on the Danica AI/ML team, you will work with applied scientists to build distributed systems that leverage state-of-the-art multi-modal AI model building infrastructure to identify objects in sensor data (such as video streams from cameras).

You will use OpenSearch technology to enable automative developers to efficiently query for scenarios such as pedestrians on a sidewalk using semantic and structured queries. Our technical challenges involve back-end software engineering, applied science, and front end development.

We need to develop and apply quantitative algorithms (e.g. machine learning, computer vision, network optimization) to make industry process analysis relevant and actionable for operations engineers.

We build software and information systems to process massive scale operational data, infer information relationship across complex systems, train decision models and apply them to critical operations at industrial scale.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Benefits

We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including equity, sign-on payments, medical, financial, and other benefits. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
