Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacists in the delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software, to ensure efficient and accurate processing of prescriptions and transactions.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
