Environmental Geologist

KEMRON Environmental Services, Inc. is an Employee-Owned company that requires a skilled Field Geologist to lead project teams engaged in environmental investigation and remediation projects across the US.

• Lead field teams in drilling, sampling, and well installation projects using various techniques.
• Prepare field logs and reports using standard soil classification and project-specific requirements.
• Develop technical approaches to meet state and federal regulatory requirements and project objectives.
• Interpret geologic and hydrogeologic data to inform project planning and implementation.
• Communicate with senior project managers and clients regarding project status, findings, and performance.

• BS in geology, hydrogeology, or a related field; a master's degree is desirable.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Access.
• Experience with evaluation of monitored natural attenuation and optimization of long-term monitoring networks.

• Understanding of RCRA Corrective Action and CERCLA regulatory programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions.
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and lift up to 40 pounds.

This is a full-time salaried position reporting to our Marietta, Ohio office. Project-specific needs may require after-hours and weekend work, including travel.
