Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a skilled Travel MRI Technologist to join our team in Kona, Hawaii.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to work in a dynamic and growing healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:- Complete procedures as requested following quality control standards
- Ensure quality patient care
- Assist patients off the table and escort them to the appropriate area
- Working knowledge of all areas in the department (ie. tech area, receptionist, scheduling, etc.)
- Assist with patient transfer and positioning as required
- Monitor and ensure prompt transfer of all images to PACs to facilitate interpretations
- Assist in identifying operational problems and implementing changes as necessary
- Comply with all isolation techniques when performing a procedure on a patient
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be registered with the ARRT or ARMRIT
- Posses a State of Hawaii License (RT)
- Demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care to various types of patients
- Ability to maintain professional and cordial relationships with patients, clerical staff, and all medical personnel
- Knowledge of MRI equipment, physics, safety, medical terminology, and department protocols
