Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Job Summary:

As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. You will monitor and assess patients' conditions, report any changes to the healthcare team, and administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by the physician.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit.
  • Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by the physician.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures.
  • Educate patients and their families about the care plan and effectively communicate any changes or updates.
  • Document all patient care activities accurately and promptly.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  • Ensure patient safety and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
  • Valid RN license in the state of Virginia.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
