Your primary responsibility will be to provide direct patient care, ensuring the physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs of patients are met.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the patient care team to provide comprehensive care to patients, adhering to established guidelines and protocols.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identifying their needs and developing individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide wound care as prescribed by the healthcare team.
- Document patient information accurately and timely, utilizing the clinical information system to maintain up-to-date records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Graduation from an accredited school of Practical Nursing and current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nurses.
- Recent nursing practice experience (within the past 5 years) or completion of a refresher course within the past 6 months.
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required upon hire.
