We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team at EssilorLuxottica Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for planning, forecasting, and analyzing financial performance for our Brand/Business Unit team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate monthly results analysis and maintain effective controls over brand P&L.
  • Complete detailed review of actual results on a monthly basis, including a thorough understanding of drivers of results.
  • Coordinate obtaining variance explanations and review for reasonableness.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly financial packet for Brand leadership, including deep insights on drivers of the business.
  • Develop annual plan and quarterly forecast.
  • Develop and/or review forecast for line items, ensuring there are adequate action plans to achieve forecast.
  • Serve as a financial partner for home office cost center owners.
  • Ensure all forecasts/plans are accurate.
  • Create easy-to-understand KPI reporting or dashboards, as well as provide actionable key insights to improve results.
  • Set store sales goals and meet reporting deliverables related to associate commission and headcount planning.
  • Participate in special projects and create ad hoc analysis.
  • Continuously research and analyze ideas for reducing Retail Bad Debt/Over Short.
  • Support analysts/collections team as they partner on key projects.
  • Lead special cross-functional projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 6+ years accounting and/or financial planning and analysis experience.
  • Experience with financial modeling.
  • Proficiency with systems (Excel, Hyperion, Business Objects, Essbase, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Strong analytical, data mining/report creation abilities.
  • Initiative – Demonstrates willingness and ability to be a self-starter, taking the initiative to solve problems/pursue business opportunities and/or opportunities to increase SGH efficiency.
  • Results Oriented – Remains focused on desired goal versus the process.
  • Creativity – Demonstrates ability to develop, without direction, new approaches, processes, solutions, etc.
  • Decision Making – Makes sound business decisions, and if necessary, without a comprehensive fact base.
  • Challenge the Process – Constructively challenges the process and takes the initiative to search for opportunities to grow, improve, and innovate.
  • Interpersonal – Has effective and productive interaction with individuals of varying levels and functional backgrounds.
  • Strategic Orientation – Understands the company's strategies and can relate them to issues/projects at hand.

  • Experience with forecasting and statistical analysis techniques.
