About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist I to join our team at McWane, Inc. in Calera, AL. As a CNC Machinist I, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines, setting up and machining products, and maintaining production items to meet company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC machines (lathes, VTL, and mills) to produce high-quality products
  • Set up and machine products to meet company specifications
  • Maintain production items to ensure quality and quantity meet company standards
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required, including cell support, finishing, and polishing
  • Work closely with the quality department and project coordinators to ensure smooth production
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a CNC Machinist role
  • Enrolled in or participating in a CNC Machining program
  • High school diploma/GED required; Associates or higher in a technical field preferred
  • Computer skills required
  • Ability to meet and adhere to physical requirements, including wearing PPE
Work Environment
