Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Biosolids Process Manager to join our team at Synagro. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership and a passion for driving operational excellence in a plant environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the highest standards for safety and environmental compliance performance, as well as achievement of annual operating and P&L metrics.
  • Leadership: Foster a culture of accountability, empowerment, and open communication among team members, the District, and senior leadership.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Manage all maintenance and repair activities to minimize downtime and maintain contract compliance, including capital budgets and major capital improvement planning.
  • Environmental Compliance: Ensure plant operations are in compliance with all contractual and permit requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Education: BS in Engineering, Chemical, or Mechanical, or equivalent work experience.
  • License: MA Grade II Municipal or higher wastewater operator's license.
  • Certification: OSHA 30 Certification, obtainable within six months of hire.
  • Experience: 3+ years in a plant environment and 3+ years in a leadership position.

  • Salary: Estimated $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on location and experience.
