This role requires a thorough understanding of structural design and engineering techniques to perform structural analysis, engineering, and drafting tasks related to cold formed steel framing in building construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide design analysis to external customers in a professional and timely manner.
  • Use technical expertise and specific skill sets to support internal new product and equipment development in its design, manufacturing, and implementation.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in structural/civil engineering or similar.
  • BS in Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • PE or EIT preferred.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
  • Formal education in structural engineering and component design and application.
  • Proficiency in the use of computer software (AutoDesk applications) to perform analysis required.
  • Design experience and familiarity with International Building Code (IBC) and ASCE7, Minimum Design Loads and Associated Criteria for Buildings and Other Structures.
