Marketing Director

WS Development is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to join our team in Chicago's North Shore. As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies to drive traffic to our properties and their businesses.

• Develop and execute annual marketing plans to maximize marketing budgets and drive traffic to our properties.
• Review and analyze sales and traffic trends to inform market strategies and support tenants in driving traffic and sales.
• Plan and execute multiple events per month, collaborating with community partners and non-profit organizations.
• Oversee public relations for our properties, working with a contracted PR firm to compose engaging press strategies and materials.
• Manage website presence, email program, and social channels, with a focus on Instagram and emerging social media channels.
• Inform retail partners of marketing activities and support requests for on/off-site programming/activations.
• Execute paid media programs, including digital, OOH, and print channels, as well as sponsorship efforts.
• Manage local production and distribution of on/off-site collateral materials.
• Partner with the General Manager to identify and create revenue-generating opportunities to achieve financial goals.
• Prepare and review marketing budgets, forecasting on a monthly basis.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants, media, agencies, customers, community leaders, and business contacts.

• BS in Marketing/Business Administration or similar field, with at least 5 years of experience in marketing, event planning, social media planning, public relations, and media relations.
• Excellent oral, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media channels (Instagram, Facebook).
• Proficiency in marketing-based tools (Iconosquare, Canva, Constant Contact, Sweet IQ, Wordpress).
• Bonus: Basic knowledge of Adobe Suite products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
