Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Sparrow Hospital. As a Critical Care Nurse in our Emergency Room, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Emergency Room
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Participate in code blue and trauma resuscitations
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in Critical Care Nursing
  • Level I trauma experience required
  • EPIC charting experience
  • Continuous IV sedation and Procedural Sedation Administration experience
  • Triage experience
Work Environment

Our Emergency Room is a Level I trauma center, stroke center, and heart center. We have a high patient volume and are seeking a nurse who can work well in a fast-paced environment.
