We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of technical procedures, including CT scans, to diagnose and treat diseases.
  • Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functioning.
  • Position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Verify patient information, including medical history and clinician orders.
  • Administer contrast media and ensure proper patient identification.
  • Review and release CT/radiographic images for clinically acceptable results.
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide life support equipment as needed.
  • Collaborate with other technologists and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT Radiography and Computed Tomography certifications.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology, with CT experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to patient care and safety.
