Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Recovery Room at Henry Ford Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth transition for patients from surgery to recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication
  • Develop and implement nursing care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals
  • Monitor and report patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull patients and equipment, as needed
