In a fast-paced, high-skilled unit at Ascension Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN, we seek an experienced Cardiovascular Technician to join our Cath Lab team. As a diagnostic expert, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and treating cardiovascular diseases.

About the Role

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Preparing patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, positioning them correctly, cleaning, shaving, and numbing testing sites as necessary.

• Interpreting, describing, and reporting test results, recognizing recording errors and artifacts, and taking appropriate action.

• Maintaining a clean and orderly lab area, ensuring equipment is properly functioning, and promptly reporting any abnormal findings or potential problems.

• Preparing and administering contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, obtained within one month of hire date.

• One or more of the following certifications: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CCI), Cardiographic Tech (CCI), Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (ARRT).

• A minimum of two years of cumulative experience or an Associate's degree/Technical degree.
