Fabrication Assembly Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Assembly Specialist to join our team at Manpower Group Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience in executing workmanship in areas of fabrication and assembly of metal materials forming the enclosures for low to high voltage applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and apply manufacturing knowledge and principles while reading specifications to make determinations on enclosure assembly methods, sequencing, and advising various team members or departments of errors to technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Ability to read and process drawings and cut-sheet packages, proficient in measuring, squaring and math skills, and ability to MIG or Flux-core weld.
  • Visualization skills to imagine how something will look after it is moved around or when its parts are moved or rearranged.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in fabrication and assembly of metal materials.
  • Knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment, including welding machines, grinders, sanders, and basic hand tools.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
