About the Role

As a Lead Guide, you will be responsible for:

  • Observing each child closely to understand and meet their physical, intellectual, and emotional needs
  • Preparing a beautiful and orderly environment that encourages concentration, independence, and deep learning
  • Cultivating independence and self-confidence by helping children 'do it all by themselves'
  • Providing individual and small-group lessons to support each child's development in practical skills, literacy, math, and more
  • Forming personal connections with each child and cultivating a community of respect
  • Communicating and collaborating respectfully with parents to provide the best possible support for every child

Requirements

We are looking for a Lead Guide who is passionate about giving children the tools they need to succeed and eager to partner with parents on their child's journey. If you have:

  • Experience working with children ages 3-6 in a group setting
  • Familiarity with child-led philosophies such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori
  • A desire to pursue certified Montessori training through our Prepared Montessorian Institute
