Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care in the operating room before, during, and after surgical interventions
  • Evaluate patients' conditions and monitor vital signs throughout surgical procedures
  • Support the surgical team by preparing and maintaining sterile instruments and supplies
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding post-operative care and recovery
  • Accurately document all patient care activities
  • Comply with all safety and infection control protocols

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Comprehensive knowledge of surgical procedures and techniques
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
  • Attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
