Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Design, implement, and evaluate safety programs that meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Provide Training and Guidance: Train employees on safety procedures and provide guidance on how to identify and report hazards.
- Monitor and Enforce Safety Regulations: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety and health rules and regulations.
- Investigate Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations into workplace incidents and develop recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with operations personnel, management, and other stakeholders to design and implement initiatives to improve safety performance.
- Minimum 5+ Years Field Safety Experience: Proven experience in a safety role, with a strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
- BS Degree in Safety or Health Related Field: A degree in a safety-related field, such as occupational health and safety, environmental health and safety, or a related field.
- CUSP Safety Certification: A plus, but not required.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical information to field personnel, management, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to Work Independently: Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
- Technical Efficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Frequent Travel to Work Sites: Ability to travel to work sites as needed.
- Physical Demands: Sitting at a desk/computer for long periods of time, focusing on a computer screen for several hours at a time.
$70,000 - $90,000 per year.
