Kitchen Porter

Salary Range:$38,000 - $52,000 per year (estimated)

The Kitchen Porter is a vital member of our team at The Greene Turtle, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen. This individual will operate the dish machine, maintain a clean and sanitized dish room, and assist with food preparation when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the dish machine according to company and manufacturer specifications
• Maintain a clean and sanitized dish room, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping counters
• Restock all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans in their proper areas
• Remove all garbage/recycling and place it in receptacles
• Assist with food preparation when needed
• Perform shift change/closing duties
• Meet performance standards and motivate team through positive role modeling
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning assignments

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularly
