Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Cottage Hospital in Woodsville, New Hampshire.

Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals of all ages, with a broad spectrum of illnesses and injuries. You will work collaboratively with our board-certified emergency medicine physicians and highly skilled emergency care nursing staff to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient data and interpret information to identify each patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and personal preferences.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in New Hampshire.
  • One year of experience in the Emergency Department, with a willingness to train the right candidate.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
