Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at Associa. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the overall security of our properties and ensuring the safety of our residents and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to alarms and emergency situations in a timely and effective manner.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Monitor and control access to the property, including signing visitors in and out.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, employees, and visitors, answering questions and providing information as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0-3 years of experience in a security-related field.
  • Guard Card required.
Working Conditions

This is a non-traditional office environment, requiring frequent standing, walking, and talking. Overtime may be required, including on-call, weekends, and 24-hour emergency situations.

Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday, 10pm-6am.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include standing, reaching, and using hands and fingers to input data. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.

Wage: $19.00 per hour.
