Morning Receptionist

The Morning Receptionist at Princess K Investments is tasked with warmly welcoming and seating all patrons in the dining area, ensuring that each individual is greeted with enthusiasm and promptly seated to commence their culinary experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet each visitor sincerely and seat them without delay.
• Manage reservations using the OpenTable system.
• Engage with guests to ensure their comfort during any wait times.
• Implement a fair seating rotation method.
• Arrive at work punctually and in appropriate attire.
• Collaborate effectively with all team members within the organization.
• Maintain cleanliness at the greeting station.
• Ensure the dining area is tidy and free of dust.
• Verify that all tables are properly set and ready for guests.
• Communicate with servers regarding table assignments.
• Support servers as needed.
• Promote children's dining initiatives by providing suitable activities and assisting with kitchen tour scheduling.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of all hotel areas.
• Effectively communicate restaurant flow to management.
• Provide accurate wait time estimates.
• Monitor the dining area flow.
• Have a solid understanding of the menu and wine selections to assist guests with inquiries.
• Ensure tables are detailed and remove unnecessary items.
• Refrain from soliciting tips.
• Participate in monthly departmental meetings and daily briefings.
• Perform additional tasks as requested by management to enhance guest service.
• Utilize the POS (Point of Sale) system proficiently.
• Take ownership of the dining experience.
• Assist management with daily operational tasks, including station scheduling.
• Adhere to procedures outlined in the training manual.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Demonstrated customer service excellence.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using technology, such as tablets and iPads.
• Ability to assist with menu updates as necessary.

Physical Requirements

• Capability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Clear communication abilities.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs. or more.
• Corrected vision within normal range.
